My name is Jessie Bischer and I currently live in Rockaway, New Jersey. I’m a graphic designer with a passion for user-centered design and advertising. I received my BA in Graphic and Interactive Design and my MS in Interactive Media Communications from Quinnipiac University. In fact, during my graduate courses, I chose to focus on user experience and design thinking.  

One of the most valuable assets for any brand to have (besides a quality product) is a positive relationship with its consumers. A profit cannot be turned without the support of the company’s target market and my goal as a designer is to cultivate that connection. In our modern tech-savvy society, user interactions with design are constantly developing. It’s my job to understand that experience and produce the appropriate designs.

Regarding the design process, I’m passionate about using empathy and getting to know clients and users on an emotional level. I believe putting human nature at the center of a project is beneficial to both users and companies. An effective design cannot be created without the audience in mind to guide it.

In the spirit of getting to know your audience on a personal level, let me tell you some fun facts about myself; I’m a reader, a traveler, a horror fan, and a cat mom. I don’t eat onions. I sleep with my socks on. And my lucky number is 13.
